We understand that life happens, and emergencies do occur. However, we also hope you understand our commitment to all of our students and the preparation that goes into creating a successful class. For this reason, we ask that if you cannot attend a class, you must notify us 3 days before the scheduled class time to receive a refund or credit towards another class. Within 3 days of a class, all cancellations are non-refundable. We encourage you to send someone to your place if you cannot attend a scheduled class. In this case, please call ahead and notify us of the participant change.
The deposit for your event is good the day and time that we agreed upon, the deposit will go towards your total amount for your event. The deposit is non refundable if cancel within 3 days of the event. That includes reason of sickness, travel problems, family emergencies, etc. your deposit will not be transferred to another date.
Arrival, Late Arrival, Drop-off & Pick-up Policy for Public Classes/Camps
Arrival Policy
Our Kitchen will open 15 minutes prior to begin checking in and welcoming guests. We’ll start promptly, so be sure to arrive on-time to ensure that you are able to get the full experience from start to finish!
Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late to your class, we will proceed without you and you may lose out on certain dishes. We will not be offered a refund or rescheduling.
For our private classes, we will charge a late start $50 fee for every 30 minutes we wait to start the class
Drop-Off Policy
If a minor is attending a drop-off class, please escort your child into the Kitchen each day as you will be required to note who is authorized for pick up at the end of the session. If your child is able to leave on their own, we will need written permission which you can do at drop-off.
Pick-up Policy
Pick-up is promptly at the end of our session so please be on time. If you are late for pick-up your child will automatically be enrolled in our late pick-up program which runs until 30-minutes after the session end-time and charged $15.
Arrival & Departure Policy for Private Events
Arrival Policy
Our Kitchen will open 10 minutes prior to your event to allow you and your guests ample time to check in. We will start promptly to ensure that you are able to get the full experience from start to finish!
Departure Policy
As the booking client, we will rely on you to clearly communicate the event end time to your guests to ensure we are able to clean up promptly. If you stay more than 15 minutes past your event time, you will be charged a $50 fee for an additional 30 minutes. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Public Classes & Camps Cancellation Policy
Please note that registration in a class is a FIRM commitment to attend the class.
All sales are final and non-refundable. There are no exceptions. You can reschedule your booking up to 3 days prior to the start time of the class using online rebooking. Rescheduling requests within 3 days of the class and no-show participants will not be accommodated. New bookings made within 3 days of the class cannot be rescheduled. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late to your class, you may be denied entry and will not be offered a refund or rescheduling. AJ’s Kitchen will not be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances including schedule conflicts, illnesses, last-minute emergencies, and any other circumstance.
Need to reschedule your booking?
You can reschedule your booking up to 3 days prior to the start time of your class by contacting us. If you are unable to rebook yourself, you’ve missed your rebooking window and we will keep the $250 deposit. Do your best to make it to class or send a friend in your place, as we do not offer rescheduling within 3 days of the class.
If you cannot attend and the cancellation time has passed, please feel free to send someone in your place. Let us know by calling the store (813) 328-4122 and provide us their name so that we will be prepared.
All classes, instructors/chefs and menus are subject to change without notice.
If AJ’s Kitchen Drawer needs to cancel or reschedule a class, you will be notified 24 hours before the class and given the option of attending the rescheduled class, credit for another class, or a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to chef illness or insufficient enrollment and will give you 24 hours of notice if this is the case. Likewise, if we cancel a class due to inclement weather, we will notify you as soon as that decision is made and fully refund your registration; but if we hold a class, there will be no refunds due to the weather.
** We will be taking pictures thought-out the class and we may use some on out website and social media. If you have a problem with this, please let us know during the class.
